Harlequin Sponsors Charity Golf Day

To raise money for Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance

Harlequin was the main sponsor for a Charity Golf Day organised by the Weavers Arms Golf Society, Fillongly, Warwickshire, to raise money for Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. The Air Ambulance Service operates the national Children’s Air Ambulance and the local air ambulance services for Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. The service works tirelessly to save lives and alleviate sickness, wherever and whenever possible.

The event saw a great turnout with 46 people participating in it. And, a total of £2600 was raised. Every year this golf society raises money for the local Air Ambulance. On average they raise around £10,000 per annum. Since COVID 19 hit many charities last year, the society was determined to raise as much as possible. The society have so far raised £50,000.
